Senior Accountant (Full time)
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Industry: Shared Services / BSC
Salary: RM 7,000 – RM 9,000 / month (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under US-GAAP
• Perform monthly closings, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and document SOX controls
• Provide daily and monthly reports to the General Accounting team
• Liaise with vendors and customers regarding fixed asset issues
• Assist with resolution of issues impacting timely month-end closing
• Build and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field
• Min 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience in Shared Services or Business Services Center (BSC) environment
• Experience performing month-end closing, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience preparing, documenting, and executing SOX controls and compliance-related activities
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is an advantage

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
