JOB SUMMARY

The Security Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the overall security and safety of the company premises, employees, visitors, vehicles and company assets. The role requires a responsible and alert individual with basic knowledge of workplace safety and security procedures, who is able to monitor security activities, control access, respond to incidents and ensure company security rules are followed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in security, safety, enforcement, factory or related fields.
• Experience in factory/manufacturing/F&B environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety and emergency response.
• Experience in CCTV monitoring, access control and security patrols.
• Able to manage and coordinate security personnel.
• Good observation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, alert and physically fit.
• Able to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
• Able to work independently and make appropriate decisions when required.
• Willing to work shift, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Basic computer skills for preparing reports and maintaining records.
• Security-related certification / training is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the overall security of factory, office and company premises.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, visitors and vehicles.
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.
• Coordinate and monitor security guards and daily security activities.
• Handle security incidents, emergencies and prepare incident reports.
• Ensure emergency exits and restricted areas are properly controlled.
• Assist with basic workplace safety and fire safety matters.
• Report any security risks, unsafe conditions or suspicious activities to Management.
