Job Opening: M&E Coordinator (Contract)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive M&E Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works across our construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure M&E works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Project Managers.
• Coordinate and manage M&E works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ELV, etc.) on site
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordination with structural & architectural engineers for the site works.
• Attend site meetings, prepare coordination notes, and follow up on action items
• Ensure M&E works comply with local authorities’ requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, etc.)
• Support testing & commissioning, inspections, and handover documentation
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays
• Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and site coordination

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction projects (A&A experience preferred)
• Familiar with Singapore codes & standards
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office (BIM knowledge is a plus)
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently on site

Preferred Attributes (Advantageous)

• Experience in A&A works
• Knowledge of authority submissions and inspections
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors concurrently
