Role Description As a Founding Engineer at Deep Bridge, you will design, build, and maintain core product features across the AI workflow engine, data pipelines, and user-facing applications. You will work closely with the founders and early team to define the technical architecture, choose tools and frameworks, and set engineering standards and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing production-grade code, integrating AI and automation capabilities, improving system performance and reliability, and collaborating on product discovery and experimentation. You will help shape the culture of the engineering team, contribute to hiring and mentoring, and ensure that technical decisions align with business needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills in backend and/or full-stack development, including experience with modern programming languages, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.
• Practical experience with AI, machine learning, or automation systems, especially in building data-driven workflows or integrating models into production applications.
• Proficiency with databases, data modeling, and data pipelines, including designing scalable systems for handling operational and transactional data.
• Comfort with frontend development and UX collaboration to create intuitive interfaces for complex workflows (experience with modern frontend frameworks is beneficial).
• Experience setting up engineering processes and tools, such as version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks, monitoring, and observability.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, early-stage environment, including ownership of projects from concept to deployment and iteration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders in product and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior startup or founding team experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with trading, supply chain, or B2B SaaS products is advantageous but not required; interest in global trade and workflow automation is highly valued.

Pay: $11,500.00 - $30,000.00 per month
