About the Role

We are looking for experienced ESM (ServiceNow) Delivery Engineers to support the onboarding of a 450+ network device estate onto ServiceNow.

The role will focus on ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB validation, network device onboarding and data quality, working closely with the Network Operations and ESM programme teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute network discovery across 450+ devices using ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping

• Validate, reconcile and remediate CMDB Configuration Item (CI) data

• Onboard network devices and dependencies into ServiceNow

• Define and refine Discovery Patterns, Probes and Credentials

• Troubleshoot discovery gaps and CMDB data-quality issues

• Validate network topology, device relationships and dependencies

• Document discovery configurations, onboarding procedures and CMDB standards

• Support data-quality governance and knowledge transfer to the permanent team

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Operations

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping

Strong understanding of CMDB data models, CI relationships and data quality

Strong networking fundamentals – Routing, Switching & Firewalls

Experience troubleshooting network discovery and topology issues

Good analytical and data-validation skills

Strong communication skills in English

Good to Have

• Python / PowerShell scripting and automation

• Network discovery automation

• ServiceNow ESM / ITSM implementation or onboarding experience

• Large-scale network environment experience

Important

This is a delivery-focused engineering role, so candidates should have hands-on ServiceNow Discovery + Service Mapping experience, along with a strong network engineering background.
