Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Kulim. The Technician will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment and systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include troubleshooting issues, replacing or adjusting parts, documenting work performed, and reporting any recurring problems to supervisors. The role involves following standard operating procedures, adhering to safety regulations, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth operations. The Technician may also assist in installing new equipment, supporting process improvements, and participating in scheduled shutdowns or preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks on equipment and systems.
• Comfort with using hand tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic devices in a safe and controlled manner.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for reporting issues, documenting work, and coordinating with supervisors and team members.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kulim, including possible shift work, overtime, or weekend duties as required.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma (e.g., in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance) is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills for updating maintenance records and reading digital manuals; prior experience in a similar technician role is beneficial.
