We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation, system conversion, rollout, and digital transformation programs. Serving as the central delivery authority, you will orchestrate cross-functional workstreams, manage multi-million-dollar budgets, and bridge engagement across executive clients, delivery teams, and third-party partners. You will ensure seamless execution across the entire SAP Activate lifecycle - delivering strategic enterprise value on time, within scope, and to world-class quality standards.

Key Delivery Pillars & Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Methodology Execution
  
  

End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Drive overall project execution through all phases of the SAP Activate methodology (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run).

Integrated Planning & Architecture: Define and manage the baseline project plan, critical path, milestones, resource allocation, and key dependencies in close alignment with Solution Architects.

Cross-Workstream Orchestration: Coordinate parallel delivery across Functional (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Asset Management) and Technical teams (ABAP, Fiori, BTP, Integrations, Security, Infrastructure).

Data, Testing & Cutover: Oversaw end-to-end data migration (mock conversions, reconciliation), multi-stage testing (SIT, UAT, Performance, Regression), and final cutover execution leading into hypercare and AMS transition.

• Governance, PMO & Executive Leadership
  
  

Steering Committee Management: Establish project governance framework, leading Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings, PMO alignment, and executive status reporting.

RAID & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID matrix) with decisive escalation management.

Commercial & Scope Control: Oversee financial health, resource utilization, baseline scope, and commercial change requests to maximize delivery margin and baseline adherence.

Vendor & Partner Management: Direct joint-delivery teams, external systems integrators (SIs), and third-party technology partners under unified governance.

• Stakeholder Management & Quality Assurance
  
  

Executive Advisory: Serve as the trusted delivery advisor to senior client executives (CIO, CFO, Line-of-Business VP), steering design/requirements workshops toward sign-off.

Quality & Recovery Management: Enforce strict quality standards, architectural integrity, and documentation protocols—implementing rapid recovery plans whenever schedule or delivery variances occur.

Required Experience & Qualifications

SAP Leadership Experience: 8–12+ years of core SAP delivery background, featuring a strong track record of leading complex SAP project lifecycles.

S/4HANA Proven Delivery: At least one (1) full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation successfully managed from kick-off to post-go-live hypercare.

Methodology Mastery: Deep operational knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology, delivery gates, and structured SAP governance frameworks.

Technical & Functional Depth: Sound cross-domain exposure across S/4HANA core modules, ABAP/BTP technical architectures, data migration strategies, and cutover command-center operations.

Global Delivery Model: Demonstrated ability to manage hybrid onshore/offshore teams, external vendors, and multi-tier project organization structures.

Financial Oversight: Strong command of project budgeting, resource optimization, earned value management, and commercial change management.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud & Modern SAP Architecture: Experience delivering RISE with SAP / S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Fiori, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Transition Strategies: Hands-on experience with ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations across Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition (SDT) approaches.

Industry Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, and/or SAP Certified Associate - SAP Activate Project Manager.

Scale: Prior leadership experience in large-scale enterprise or regional/global SAP transformation initiatives.
