Position Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall corporate budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and management activities. This role involves managing the finance and accounting teams, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to the company’s strategic financial planning.

2. Overall Management
- Oversee and manage the finance and accounting departments, ensuring the smooth execution of all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and account management.
3. Financial Reporting & Management
- Supervise the preparation, review, and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), tax regulations, and other statutory requirements (e.g., Companies Act, Securities Commission’s Act, Income Tax Act).
- Manage the preparation of financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including holding companies and auditors.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of the company’s financial budgets, forecasts, and reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist the CEO/General Manager in budget planning, risk management, and financial forecasting.
5. Supervision & Team Management
- Oversee the finance and accounting teams, allocating tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff in performing day-to-day accounting functions, such as journal entries, bank reconciliation, and invoicing.
- Manage human resource aspects within the finance department, including recruitment, performance evaluation, motivation, and disciplinary actions.

- Assist in risk management activities, including credit control, internal audits, and developing and enforcing financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure all financial operations are in full compliance with statutory requirements and corporate policies.
7. Audit & External Liaison
- Coordinate and organize internal and external audits, preparing the necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Ensure proper preparation and submission of audited financial reports, including notes to the financial statements and directors' disclosures.
8. Analysis & Reporting
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including the preparation of valuation reports, financial forecasts, and quarterly analysis for tax purposes.
- Review and approve journal vouchers, management accounts, and audit schedules.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
9. Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Perform additional tasks and provide support to the Management as needed, including special projects or urgent financial matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
