Job Title: Senior Installation Analysis Engineer

Duration: 1-year renewable contract

This opportunity sits within offshore engineering and installation analysis, supporting conceptual, FEED, and detailed design activities across complex marine and subsea projects. The role offers broad technical scope across pipeline installation, structural installation, and naval architecture work, with exposure to design calculations, procedures, interdisciplinary coordination, and offshore vessel support. This position is well suited to professionals with strong SURF and deepwater project experience who can contribute to technically demanding oil and gas installation work.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  
  

Required Experience

• 8-15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant, predominantly performing construction and installation design
• Previous SURF and deepwater project experience
• Experience delivering conceptual, FEED, and detailed design for offshore installation engineering scopes
• Background supporting transportation and installation analysis for offshore assets such as submarine pipelines, risers, spools, PLETS, manifolds, cables, or offshore structures
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering, fabrication, marine, procurement, and project management teams
• Experience providing engineering support for offshore installation activities and resolving fabrication or technical queries
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong installation analysis capability, including preparation and review of design calculations, engineering reports, and installation procedures
• Strong working knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and the application of relevant standards, codes, and guidelines for onshore and offshore construction
• Ability to perform or review engineering analyses related to pipeline installation, structural installation, and marine operations
• Ability to develop design basis documents, technical specifications, and clear engineering deliverables in line with project requirements
• Capability to lead or direct engineering activities when assigned project coordination responsibilities
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues and document significant technical decisions
• Ability to perform design verification through single-discipline and inter-discipline checks
• Capability to support technical bid reviews, requisitions, vendor queries, and procurement-related engineering input
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Registered Professional Engineer status or membership of a professional engineering society
• Additional capability in erection sequences, loadout procedures, lift analyses, weighing procedures, fabrication yard item design, crane and rigging arrangements, or trailer operations
