We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist and Learning Facilitator to deliver engaging, practical training that helps working professionals build in-demand cybersecurity capabilities and achieve real workplace impact. What you will do

Deliver practical cybersecurity training

• Facilitate engaging classroom and live online training sessions covering practical cybersecurity concepts and real-world applications.
• Lead hands-on labs, attack-and-defence simulations, incident response exercises, and scenario-based activities.
• Deliver training across key cybersecurity areas, including network security, threat detection, security operations, risk management, governance, and compliance.
• Use real-world examples and industry scenarios to help learners connect technical concepts to workplace applications.

Develop learner capabilities

• Mentor learners as they build practical cybersecurity skills through hands-on exercises, case studies, and simulations.
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to support learner progress and confidence.
• Break down complex cybersecurity concepts into practical, business-relevant learning experiences for professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through realistic cybersecurity scenarios.

Drive learning excellence

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to continuously improve course content, delivery, and learner outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats, security technologies, frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Deliver high-quality training aligned with adult learning principles and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) standards.

What we look for

We are looking for experienced cybersecurity practitioners who combine strong technical expertise with a passion for teaching. Successful candidates typically have:

• ACTA or ACLP certification (mandatory).
• At least 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, ideally within financial services, technology, or other regulated industries.
• Strong practical experience in:
• Cybersecurity architecture, threat detection, and defence strategies.
• Security operations, SIEM platforms, and incident response.
• Cybersecurity risk management, security assessments, audits, governance, and compliance.
• Solid knowledge of:
• Security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
• Industry frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Data protection and regulatory requirements such as PDPA, GDPR, and MAS TRM.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into practical, accessible learning experiences for adult learners.

Prior experience in teaching, corporate training, mentoring, or facilitating adult learning programmes will be highly regarded.
