Responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. The role involves inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs across electrical, mechanical, or other systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. They also support commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts to keep the plant running safely and effectively.
Must strictly follow health, safety, and regulatory requirements, while coordinating with engineers, planners, and contractors to execute maintenance activities efficiently. Proper documentation of maintenance work, monitoring of equipment condition, and adherence to company procedures are essential to ensure compliance, reliability, and overall asset integrity in the facility
Requirement
Diploma in science/engineering/technology OR Certificate from INSTEP
Possess minimum 5 years of experience in supervisory role
Conversant in :
Calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level)
Loop checking, function testing, commissioning
Troubleshooting instrument faults and control systems
Preventive and corrective maintenance
PLC / DCS systems (basic to intermediate level)
Field instruments:
Transmitters
Control valves
Gas detectors
Communication protocols (e.g., HART, Fieldbus – for more advanced roles)
Problem - solving and analytical thinking
Good communication (work with engineers, operators)
