Job Purpose
To manage and support procurement, contract administration, vendor management, and related commercial activities for development projects and corporate operations, ensuring cost effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.
The role will work closely with the Project, Planning and Design, Sales & Marketing, Finance, as well as consultants, contractors and suppliers, to achieve project cost, quality and programme objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and related documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and company policies
- Monitor contract validity, renewal requirements, and key contractual obligations
- Assist in the preparation and establishment of development budgets prior to project commencement
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cost commitments throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and update cost reports on project financial performance, cost commitments, and forecasted final costs
- Support management in evaluating cost optimization and value engineering initiatives to enhance project profitability
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and administration of tender exercises
- Compile and evaluate tender submissions, including commercial comparisons and analysis
- Maintain the approved database of suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers
- Source and procure services, consultancy, and contracting works
About you
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Contracts, Procurement, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience with a property developer, QS consultancy firm or construction-related organisation is highly preferred.
- Proven exposure to residential, mixed-development and/or other property development projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of tendering, contract administration, cost management and procurement processes.
