About SAESL

A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.

As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, kitting, and ensuring traceability of parts entering the Kitting Area. Accountable for assigned engine/module builds to ensure all kitting and picking activities are completed accurately and within required timelines. Supports scheduled and ad-hoc operational requirements involving parts movement for build and repair activities across the facility.

Job Responsibilities

Safety Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, proper use of PPE, and promotion of a safe working environment

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all received parts meet regulatory and internal quality standards; escalate issues when required

Attendance & Discipline

  • Provide timely attendance updates to leaders in accordance with the Employee Handbook for accountability purposes

Operation

  • Execute assigned daily tasks including pick, kit, build preparation, and packing within targeted timelines
  • Ensure assigned engine/module is fully supported and cleared in accordance with brick plans and build sequencing
  • Provide timely updates and readiness status reports of assigned engines/modules to Crew Supervisor and Management
  • Coordinate with Crew Supervisor to support build requirements and ensure timely parts receipt into kitting
  • Perform ZMKIT transactions in SAP for traceability and accountability upon receipt of items
  • Support urgent retrieval of parts for reverse logistics or emergency/out-of-build (EOB) production requirements

Quality / Safety / Audit Support

  • Assist HSE and Quality teams with ad-hoc shift requirements as needed

External Warehouse Management

  • Support movement of parts to and from external warehouse, including monitoring and triggering retrieval actions when required

Accountability & Handover

  • Ensure proper shift handover with clear updates on assigned engines/modules, parts status, and outstanding actions

Qualification / Experience

  • Minimum GCE “N” Levels / SPM or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant logistics working experience
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and a good team player with a positive work attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Able to operate a forklift and/or possess a valid forklift license would be an advantage
