Key Responsibilities:
Material Procurement
- Source and purchase raw materials such as paper reels, liners, adhesives, inks, and packaging accessories.
- Ensure materials meet quality specifications and production requirements.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid material shortages or overstocking.
Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues regarding delivery or quality.
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to ensure competitive purchasing costs.
- Support cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.
- Prepare and update procurement cost reports regularly.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare purchase orders (POs), quotation comparisons, and other related documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO / RBA / internal audit requirements.
- Maintain proper records of procurement transactions for audit and traceability purposes.
Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Planning, QA, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely supply of materials.
- Coordinate with Finance for supplier payment processing.
- Support management in vendor audits and approval processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements in procurement processes to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in developing new suppliers for new materials or machinery parts.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the carton box / packaging / manufacturing industry.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, SQL, or other procurement modules).
- Knowledge of paper grades, corrugated materials, and packaging consumables is an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to speak in mandarin is an advantage

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
