Role Description The Part-time Lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate or diploma-level students in their area of specialization, using a combination of on-campus classes in Kuala Lumpur and online sessions from home in a hybrid format. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, conducting lectures, tutorials, and assessments, and providing timely feedback on student performance. The Lecturer will maintain accurate records of grades and attendance, support student learning through consultation hours, and contribute to curriculum delivery in alignment with program outcomes and accreditation standards. This part-time role requires collaboration with academic colleagues to ensure consistent teaching quality and adherence to institutional policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Relevant postgraduate qualification (preferably a Master’s degree or higher) in the discipline to be taught, from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated teaching or training experience in higher education or professional settings, with the ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to teach and support a diverse student population.
• Ability to design and deliver lessons, assessments, and learning activities that align with program outcomes and accreditation requirements.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and online teaching tools, and comfort with hybrid (on-campus and remote) teaching modes.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to balance teaching, grading, and student support in a part-time capacity.
• Commitment to academic integrity, inclusive teaching practices, and continuous professional development.
• Prior industry experience or applied expertise in the relevant field is an advantage.
