Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Patient Service Associate forms the core unit in providing support to the clinic day-to-day operations, both logistical and administrative. Responsibilities of a Patient Service Associate, but not limited to are as listed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform reception duties including answering telephone inquiries from patients and other, screen calls to determine nature and urgency of inquiry.
- Scheduling of appointments for therapy sessions.
- Registration of patients, obtaining relevant medical histories, entering, and updating of patients databases including obtaining insurance approvals as appropriate.
- Communicate information of therapy schedule to therapists.
- To ensure accuracy of all data entries into the clinic management system.
- Process billing transactions and closure of daily settlement.
- Preparation and submission of insurance claims.
- Manage and maintain inventories of supplies, as required to support day-to-day centre operations.
- Maintenance of the physical facility of the clinic.
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
