Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage rental settlements, vendor invoices and equipment-related asset processes. The role also supports data analysis, process digitalisation and cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the rental settlement process, verify vendor invoices and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Process vendor payments accurately and on time.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Analyse settlement and cost data, identify irregularities and prepare relevant reports.
- Support the development and implementation of efficient invoice-processing and settlement systems.
- Manage equipment write-offs, total-loss cases and reinstatements in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate the end-to-end disposal of container assets.
- Participate in digitalisation, automation and cross-functional process improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and recommend practical operational improvements.
- Support other duties and projects assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
- At least one year of shipping industry experience is preferred, although candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
- Exposure to vendor invoices, payments or settlement processes would be advantageous.
- Strong data-handling and analytical skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actionable improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace; experience with Looker or other dashboarding and data-visualisation tools is preferred.
- Some exposure to digitalisation, automation or process improvement projects would be beneficial.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in improving workflows.
- Organised, adaptable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal, written and presentation skills, with the confidence to work across diverse teams.
- Positive learning attitude and willingness to adopt new digital tools and business practices.
