JUNIOR BARISTA

Working Location: TRX, Kuala Lumpur
Training Location: Imoment Cafe, Bangsar South
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 1 year of barista experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Barista with at least 1 year of barista experience and basic bakery skills. Training will be provided at Imoment Cafe, Bangsar South before or during the initial employment period to ensure the candidate is familiar with our beverage, bakery, service and operational standards.

The successful candidate will be based at our TRX outlet upon completion of the required training.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages and café products according to company standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders and café equipment properly.
• Perform basic bakery preparation, baking and presentation.
• Assist with daily café preparation, opening and closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, workstation and equipment.
• Monitor stock and minimise food and ingredient wastage.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and company SOPs.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Handle customer orders and enquiries efficiently.
• Support the team during busy periods, weekends and public holidays.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience.
• Basic knowledge and experience in bakery preparation.
• Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced café environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Food Handling Certificate will be an advantage.

Training

• Training will be conducted at Imoment Cafe, Bangsar South.
• Training will cover beverage preparation, bakery basics, café SOPs, food hygiene, customer service and daily operations.
• Upon completion of training, the employee will be assigned to work at the TRX outlet.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
