Job Description

· Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Responsible for inbound/outbound logistics, optimizing supply chain costs, and participating in distribution planning.

· Shipping & Imports/Exports: Handled day-to-day shipment clearance processes at Port Klang and managed inbound/outbound logistics.

· Inventory & Stock Control: Managed spare parts inventory in coordination with the logistics department and handled other stock/inventory tasks as directed.

· Vendor & Fleet Oversight: Coordinated and monitored vehicle maintenance/repair, managed service contracts, and recommended cost-efficiency improvements for the fleet.

· Documentation & Compliance: Ensured timely dispatch of goods, managed systems to optimize time/cost efficiency, and maintained strict non-disclosure of business operations.

• Operational Expertise: You have direct experience overseeing the end-to-end receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, which is a core component of the new requirement for monitoring supply and inventory control.
• Financial & Strategic Oversight: Your background includes analysing vehicle status for cost-efficiency and managing service contracts, which prepares you for the new role's focus on managing import/export budgets and negotiating rates.
• Systems Management: You are accustomed to implementing systems to optimize time management and logistics, directly addressing the requirement to identify shipping issues and implement timely solutions.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Your previous role required constant coordination between the logistics department, fleet operations, and management, fulfilling the need for excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.

Requirements

· Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree

· At least 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain & Logistics

· Based in Malaysia and also fluent in Bahasa Malaysia; English (Fluent in Tamil & Hindi) are most welcome.

· Positive working attitude, teamwork spirit, sense of urgency, self-initiative, self-discipline, and have an eye for detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
