Job Scope

To ensure the organization’s compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards, you will collaborate closely with employees, Management, and regulatory authorities to develop, implement, and monitor effective EHS policies and procedures.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness

• Manage Bomba Fire Certificate applications and renewals.
• Oversee fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, and compliance.
• Plan and conduct fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.

Occupational Health & Safety

• Conduct Noise Monitoring and Chemical Health Risk Assessments (CHRA).
• Ensure safe chemical storage and handling procedures.
• Manage scheduled waste in compliance with DOE regulations (CePSWaM).
• oImplement ergonomic assessments and workplace improvements.
• Oversee PPE compliance and procurement.

Environmental & CSR Compliance

• Lead ISO 14001 and CSR audit readiness.
• Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate ESG goals.

Policy & Documentation

• Develop, review, and update EHS policies in line with OSHA 1994 (Amendment 2022).
• Maintain accurate incident reports, risk assessments, and audit documentation.
• Chair the EHS Committee, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct OHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Promote a safety-first culture through campaigns and toolbox talks.

Regulatory Liaison

• Act as primary contact with DOSH (JKKP) and DOE (JAS) during inspections.
• Submit statutory reports (JKKP 5, 6, 7, CHRA, eSWIS)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

• DOSH-registered Green Book holder.
• Scheduled Waste Competent Person (CePSWaM) certification.
• Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health.

Added advantages:

• ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOE regulations.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
