Job Responsibilities
1. Provide lodgement support to the Firm’s Secretaries in the preparation and lodgement of conveyancing instruments through the
Singapore Land Authority (SLA) eLodgment portal
.
2. Assist with the preparation and lodgement of various conveyancing instruments and related documents.
3. Assist with ACRA filing of Charges and Discharges of Charges.
4. Check that instruments, supporting documents and transaction details are properly prepared and accurate before lodgement or filing.
5. Monitor lodgement and filing status and follow up on any requisitions, rejections or issues where necessary.
6. Liaise with the Firm’s Secretaries and relevant internal teams on lodgement and filing matters.
7. Maintain proper records of lodgements and filings and ensure that matters are attended to within the required timelines.
8. Perform other conveyancing and lodgement-related administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior experience in conveyancing, legal support or lodgement work will be an advantage.
Familiarity with the
SLA eLodgment portal
and conveyancing instruments will be highly preferred.
Good attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with legal instruments and transaction details.
Able to perform repetitive and process-driven work consistently without compromising accuracy.
Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Role
This is a process-driven role involving a high volume of lodgements. While the work is repetitive,
accuracy and attention to detail are critical
, as the Lodgement Team serves as an important
gatekeeper in the conveyancing process
. A small error at the lodgement stage can affect the completion or registration of a transaction, so the role requires someone who is meticulous, dependable and comfortable working with detailed documents.
