Job Summary:

Lead the housekeeping team, manage schedules, and train staff. Conduct strict room inspections to ensure high cleanliness standards and manage inventory and equipment repairs.

Job Responsibility:

· Staff Scheduling: Plan and manage duty rosters and shift schedules for the housekeeping team.

· Shift Supervision: Lead and guide staff during their shifts to ensure daily tasks are completed.

· Staff Training: Train new hires on cleaning standards, safe chemical use, and proper equipment handling.

· Room Inspections: Check guest rooms and public areas thoroughly to ensure they meet company cleanliness standards.

· Safety & Compliance: Ensure the team follows all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

· Inventory Management: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and linens to prevent shortages.

· Equipment & Repairs: Look after housekeeping equipment, report breakdowns, and coordinate and conduct repairs or replacements if required.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum SPM, Diploma, or Degree in any field (a certificate in Hospitality/Tourism is a plus).

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant.

· Able to lead, manage, and motivate a team of cleaners.

· Sharp eye for detail to check room cleanliness and standards.

· Good communication skills to give clear instructions to the team.

· Good at handling staff schedules and coordinating equipment repairs.

· Physically fit to walk, stand, and inspect areas throughout the shift.

· Proficient in conducting training and coaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
