Location: Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur (5-min walk from Cochrane MRT)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000
Work Days: Monday to Friday (5 days)
Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM / 10 AM - 7PM (Flexible)

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and growth-driven Social Media Strategist to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and organic traffic acquisition across multiple social media platforms. This role is responsible for identifying trending opportunities, creating high- performing content strategies, building social media IPs, and growing social channels into sustainable traffic sources. The ideal candidate is highly active on social media, understands content trends, audience psychology, and knows how to leverage viral content, memes, trending topics, and community engagement to maximize reach and exposure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Growth & Traffic Strategy

• Develop and execute social media strategies focused on increasing brand exposure, audience growth, and organic traffic acquisition.
• Identify opportunities to expand reach across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, XiaoHongShu (REDnote), Telegram, and emerging platforms.
• Continuously explore new content angles, traffic sources, and audience acquisition opportunities.
• Drive measurable growth in followers, reach, engagement, profile visits, and traffic generation.

2. Trend Monitoring & Viral Content Planning

• Monitor market trends, social media trends, viral topics, and emerging content formats daily.
• Transform trending topics into relevant and engaging content opportunities.
• Develop content concepts including: Viralvideos, Trending Formats, Memes, Community discussions, Interactive Campaigns, Cultural and seasonal content.
• Identify opportunities for real-time marketing and trend-jacking to maximize exposure.

3. Social Media IP & Community Building

• Build and develop social media accounts into recognizable digital brands and communities.
• Create unique content directions, storytelling frameworks, and account positioning strategies.
• Strengthen audience engagement and community participation across all platforms.
• Explore opportunities to develop influencer-style, personality-driven, or niche community accounts.

4. Content Planning & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Plan monthly and weekly content strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to produce high-performing visual andvideo content.
• Manage content calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns and content initiatives.
• Continuously test and optimize content formats, hooks, captions, and posting schedules.

5. Performance Analysis & Optimization

• Monitor and analyze content performance, audience behavior, and platform insights.
• Identify high-performing content and replicate successful growth strategies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionablerecommendations.
• Optimize strategies based on key growth metrics, including: Reach, Engagement, Follower Growth, Shares, Saves, TrafficGenerated.

6. Market Research & Competitive Analysis

• Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and successful content strategies.
• Research local and international social media trends and best practices.
• Identify emerging opportunities that can generate additional exposure and audience growth.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
