About the Role:

As a Demi Chef, you will assist the Chef de Partie in running a specific section of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to standard while helping to supervise and train junior staff. This role is well-suited for someone who already has basic culinary experience and is looking to grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section
• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Support and train Commis chefs and Kitchen Helpers.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained.
• Monitor stock usage, assist with ordering, and reduce wastage.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and dish improvements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen as Demi Chef
• Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Passion for culinary growth and career development.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
