Genie Wash is a mobile car detailing company based in Singapore, and we're looking for someone to help us consistently turn our marketing ideas into action.

We already have a clear direction for what we want to do. We're not looking for someone to spend months building marketing plans or presentations.

Instead, we're looking for a hands-on marketer who enjoys getting things done — creating content, working with creators, publishing articles and making sure our marketing keeps moving every week.

If you enjoy taking an idea and bringing it across the finish line, you'll probably enjoy this role.

What you'll be working on

Social Media Content

You'll help keep our social channels active and growing by:

• Planning and maintaining our social content calendar
• Guiding our Singapore ground team on what videos and footage to capture
• Turning raw footage into engaging short-form content
• Editing Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos
• Writing captions and publishing content
• Maintaining a consistent posting schedule
• Tracking what performs and using those insights to improve future content
• Reply to comments on social media

You don't need to personally film everything — our team in Singapore can capture footage. Your job is to help direct what we need and turn that footage into content worth watching.

KOL, Influencer & UGC Collaborations

You'll also help us build relationships with creators in Singapore by:

• Finding relevant KOLs, micro-influencers and UGC creators
• Reaching out and coordinating collaborations
• Briefing creators on the content we're looking for
• Following up and keeping collaborations moving
• Tracking costs, content produced and performance
• Continuously building a pipeline of potential creators

We don't expect you to already know every creator in Singapore. We're looking for someone resourceful enough to find the right people and confident enough to reach out to them.

SEO & Website Content

We're building our organic search presence, and you'll help us execute our existing SEO direction by:

• Researching topics and keywords
• Using AI tools to speed up research and content production
• Turning AI-assisted drafts into useful, natural and high-quality articles
• Incorporating Genie Wash's real experience, services, photos and expertise into our content
• Formatting and publishing articles on our website
• Handling basic on-page SEO, internal linking and content updates
• Tracking whether organic traffic and enquiries are growing

We're very open to using AI. In fact, we'd like you to use it well. But we're not looking to publish generic AI-generated articles — the final content still needs to be genuinely useful and sound human.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to be a senior marketing strategist.

We're more interested in finding someone who is resourceful, hands-on and reliable.

You'll probably be a good fit if you're comfortable with:

• Editing short-form videos
• Using CapCut, Canva or similar tools
• Using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
• Learning new AI and content workflows
• Basic SEO and content optimisation
• Publishing website content
• Reaching out to creators and communicating professionally
• Working independently in a remote environment
• Looking at basic marketing numbers and learning from them

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership.

If something needs to be posted, you make sure it gets posted.

If we need creators, you find and contact them.

If an article needs to go live, you get it across the finish line.

You won't be left completely on your own — you'll work directly with the founder and our Singapore team — but we also don't want to micromanage you.

What success looks like

A good week in this role means:

• Social content is being created and published consistently
• New creators are being contacted and collaborations are moving forward
• SEO articles are being produced and published
• We can clearly see what was completed and how our content is performing

That's really what we're looking for: consistent execution and continuous improvement.

Opportunity to grow

This role can grow with you.

If you prove that you can execute consistently, understand the numbers and take ownership, there will be opportunities to take responsibility for more of Genie Wash's marketing and grow into a more senior marketing position.

Salary

RM4,500 – RM5,500 per month, depending on experience and capability.

This is a fully remote position based in Malaysia.
