We’re Hiring: Proposal Manager – Water Treatment

Are you an experienced water treatment professional with a strong background in proposal management, process engineering, costing, and team leadership?

We are looking for a Proposal Manager – Water Treatment to lead the development of technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas applications.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end preparation and management of technical and commercial proposals.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, specifications, scopes of work, and client requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment process design, technology selection, and system optimization.
• Coordinate with Process & Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, QC, Procurement, Project Management, and other teams to develop complete proposals.
• Lead technical bid clarifications and prepare responses to client queries.
• Review project costing, estimation, cost optimization, value engineering, and margin protection.
• Manage proposal schedules, resources, deliverables, and submission deadlines.
• Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance of proposal documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and innovative treatment solutions.
• Lead, coach, and mentor Proposal Engineers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, partners, and other key industry stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, environmental engineering, or a related industry.
• Proven experience in process design and proposal/bid management.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and process engineering principles.
• Experience in Oil & Gas water treatment projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of technical and commercial costing.
• Demonstrated team leadership and people-management experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals in a deadline-driven environment.
