KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Quotation

• Review Request for Quotations (RFQs) and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Update and maintain the master price list for all active parts and services.   

2.     Cost Management

• Liaise with internal departments and analyze the impact of supplier price hikes on current selling prices and prepare ""Price Adjustment Proposals"" for management review.                                                                                                                  

3.     Customer Communication & Account Management

• Credit & Accounts Receivables: Liaise with customer and finance department regarding outstanding debts and aging reports to ensure timely collections.
• Pipeline Tracking: Communicate with prospects to track the progress of submitted quotes and gather feedback for the sales team.
• Engagement: Maintain a professional relationship with existing clients via phone to identify potential new requirements or service issues before they escalate.       

4.     Marketing Manager Support

• Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, quotation hit-rate summaries, and margin analysis.
• Manage internal meetings and document action items to ensure timely follow-up with multiple departments.                                                                                                                          

TECHNICAL SKILLS

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to create complex pricing formulas) and Microsoft Power Point.
2. Experience with ERP systems for quotation and order management.                            
3. Ability to read basic technical specifications or engineering drawings is a strong advantage.                                                                                                                         

SOFT SKILLS

1. Good attention to detail (to catch errors in sales numbers).                            
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
3. Problem-solving mindset, especially when negotiating administrative hurdles with customers.

RECUIREMENT

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a Technical Engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Planning, Sales Coordination or Inside Sales role, preferably within the precision engineering, die-casting industry or any other related fields.

WORKING LOCATION

• Tebrau 2, Johor Bahru

WORKING TIME

• Monday - Friday (8.30 am - 5.45pm)
