Responsibilities

• Editing and Refining: Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax in Indonesian texts. Rewrite awkward phrasing to make content sound natural, persuasive, and engaging.
• Localization and Adaptation: Translate or adapt creative copy and marketing materials originally written in English so they resonate with local Indonesian cultural norms and idioms.
• Brand Voice and Style Consistency: Ensure all Indonesian content adheres to specific in-house style guides, tone requirements, and industry terms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with local copywriters, account managers and translators to clear up ambiguities and optimize messaging.
• Quality Control: Conduct final proofreading and production editing on digital ads, web pages, social media copy, and corporate communications before publication.

Requirements

• Native Fluency in Indonesian: Exceptional command of written Indonesian with an intuitive grasp of nuance, tone, and modern slang or informal writing.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Strong command of English to accurately interpret source copy and briefs.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for typos, formatting errors, and inconsistent terminology.
• Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of local consumer behavior and sensitivities in Indonesian
