Join a newly built hotel in Johor opening in August 2026. The Duty Manager will oversee daily guest-service operations, supervise the front-office team and ensure guests receive a smooth and memorable experience throughout their stay.

• Full-time position based in Johor.

• Open to Malaysian applicants only.

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

• Three to five years of experience in Front Office or Guest Services.

• At least one to two years of experience in a supervisory role.

• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin to assist Mandarin-speaking guests.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving, complaint-handling and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Proficient in hotel Property Management Systems such as Opera or Fidelio.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Professional appearance, grooming and hospitality etiquette.

• Able to remain calm and make appropriate decisions under pressure.

• Monthly salary: RM3,500.00–RM4,300.00, negotiable based on experience and suitability.

• Oversee the guest experience from arrival until departure.

• Ensure smooth check-in, check-out, front-office, concierge and lobby operations.

• Attend to VIP guests, repeat guests and special requests.

• Resolve guest complaints promptly and carry out appropriate service recovery.

• Monitor guest feedback and take action to improve service standards.

• Lead, train, motivate and supervise front-office and guest-services employees.

• Prepare shift schedules, assign duties and ensure compliance with hotel procedures.

• Conduct team briefings and provide coaching to maintain service standards.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Reservations and other departments.

• Ensure guest profiles, reservations, billing records and room information are accurate.

• Support the promotion and upselling of hotel services, packages and loyalty programmes.

• Prepare daily reports covering occupancy, VIP arrivals and guest-service matters.

• Monitor departmental expenses and support cost control.

• Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security and brand standards.

• Assist with employee performance reviews and recommend training requirements.
