* At least 3 years of experience in content creation, video editing, social media or a related role.

* Able to plan, film and edit short-form videos independently.

* Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video-editing software.

* Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop or other graphic-design software is preferred.

* Good understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and social media content trends.

* Able to write engaging video hooks, simple scripts, captions and calls to action.

* Good visual sense, storytelling ability and attention to detail.

* Able to manage multiple content deadlines in a fast-moving start-up environment.

* Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

* An interest in skincare, beauty, lifestyle or social-commerce content is preferred.

* Experience creating content for beauty, skincare, FMCG or e-commerce brands is an advantage.

* Develop content ideas for social media platforms or e-comm based on the approved brand positioning and monthly marketing calendar.

* Create short-form content concepts, hooks, scripts, captions, storyboards and calls to action.

* Film different content pillars such as product demonstrations, sunscreen application videos, educational content & etc.

* Edit videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software, including subtitles, sound effects, transitions, music and basic colour correction.

* Coordinate and assist with campaign shoots, product photography, creator collaborations and other brand content productions.

* Repurpose existing footage into multiple content variations to maximise content output.

* Organise and maintain Solara’s content library, including raw footage, edited videos, product photographs, project files and creator assets.

* Monitor TikTok and Instagram trends and recommend relevant content opportunities for the brand.

* Review content performance with the Marketing Manager and improve future content based on watch time, retention, engagement, clicks and sales results.
