Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or above in related field.

Preferably a minimum of  6 years and above of working experience in the related field for this position.

Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadline.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Independent, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good teamwork skill, communication skills, adaptability, good organization and planning skill.

Familiarity with electronic components is an added advantage

Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point literate.  Familiar in Auto Count accounting system will be an added advantage.

Required languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Willing to travel for supplier visits and audits when required.

Willing to work at Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Responsible to process Internal Purchase Requisition Order and issue Purchase Order.

Perform sourcing and conduct price comparison to ensure product competitiveness in the market.

Lead and independently manage negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.

Track orders and follow up with supplier to ensure timely delivery.

Follow up and resolve issues related to shipments, deliveries, suppliers, and documentation discrepancies.

Perform cost and scenario analysis.

Support inventory planning and ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures.

Evaluating supplier performance and conduct supplier audits regularly to maintain strong vendor relationships.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deal with tight deadlines, work on multiple projects and manage unforeseen circumstances effectively.

To work closely with all other cross-functional departments to ensure smooth execution of product delivery and meeting project timelines.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovations

Performs other duties as assigned by superior or management.

Source new materials, components, and suppliers to support new product development (NPD) and engineering projects.

Obtain quotations, samples, technical specifications, and compliance documents for new materials.

Conduct market research to identify alternative materials, new technologies, and cost-saving opportunities.

Coordinate trial runs and monitor supplier readiness for project implementation.
