Requirements

• Master’s degree (Business Administration, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.

• Experience as a Project Manager in SAP ERP projects, deployments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.

• Experience or exposure in Finance Accounting processes is advantageous.

• Experience using project management software or other tools.

• Proficiency using Google Suite.

• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with global, diverse, and cross-functional teams at all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and build collaborative relationships, engaging resources outside of direct control to gain consensus, meet deadlines, and achieve goals and objectives.

• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with and through others.

• Ability to manage external and vendor relationships effectively.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently or with minimal supervision, while maintaining strong attention to detail.

About the role
The client is looking for a SAP Delivery Manager with the ability to lead key activities in the program`s Project Management Office for the Finance area for APAC region.

This individual will work closely with the overall PMO Lead of the Program, the Finance Stream Leads in the functional teams, consultants/contractors from the implementation partner (s) and the finance leaders of the program to ensure successful delivery. This position will report into the APAC Regional Finance Deployment Lead.

Duties & Accountabilities

• Work closely with Finance leads to organize, plan, and structure the workstream.

• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for Finance-related activities.

• Manage project progression using proven project management tools to assign and track tasks, monitor completion, and determine critical paths and interdependencies.

• Monitor and regularly report project progress against milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budget.

• Identify project risks and issues and collaborate with the workstream leader and team members to mitigate risks and resolve issues.

• Produce standard project templates for team members to use.

• Document and prepare lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain relationships with other project managers to share learnings and best practices, and stay aware of inter-project connections, issues, and opportunities.

• Assess the collective impact of other scheduled or ongoing projects on the program or portfolio.

• Support change management activities for Finance, including preparing and facilitating change management workshops.

• Support the development of project status reports and assist the PMO in publishing updates and preparing materials for project reviews, particularly for Finance-related areas.

• Facilitate regular project meetings (core team and extended team), including preparing agendas, ensuring the right participants are present, and documenting minutes, action items, and decisions.

• Record and manage project risks and issues, propose corrective actions when needed, and escalate when necessary.

• Support Finance project managers in maintaining clear communication within the project team to ensure alignment across the Finance function.

• Develop and maintain project documentation repositories, including team charters, contact lists, distribution lists (calendar and email), agendas, minutes, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, and Changes), and project milestones and deliverables.
