Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting independent audits of financial and operational activities within the petrol station and automatic car wash business. Key focus is ensuring that all sales, whether cash or non-cash (credit card, fleet card, e-wallet, etc.), are accurately recorded and deposited into the company's accounts. Also ensures data integrity, payout transaction verification, and reconciliation of ePay/Touch ‘n Go terminals with back-office records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Reconciliation & Deposit Verification

Verify all sales are accurately recorded and banked into company accounts daily.

Reconcile sales from all payment channels including:

Cash

Credit/Debit Cards

Fleet Cards (e.g., SmartPay, Petronas Mesra)

e-Wallets (e.g., Touch ‘n Go, Boost, GrabPay)

Ensure no short-banking or delay in deposits.

• Data Accuracy & System Checks

Audit POS and back-office sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

Ensure sales reports tally with terminal and bank statements.

Identify and investigate discrepancies or irregular patterns in reported data.

• Terminal and Transaction Reconciliation

Validate ePay and Touch ‘n Go reload transactions with the physical terminal summary and system data.

Investigate and report any mismatch or missing entries.

• Payout and Expense Verification

Review all cash payouts and operational expenses.

Ensure all disbursements are supported by valid documents and properly recorded.

• Reporting & Recommendations

Prepare audit findings and submit clear reports with recommendations.

Propose improvements in internal controls and operational processes.

• Compliance & Internal Control

Ensure compliance with company SOPs and relevant financial regulations.

Monitor internal control systems to prevent fraud and revenue leakage.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
