• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement (fresh produce / supermarket / e-commerce preferred)

• Strong understanding of fresh market pricing and supply dynamics

• Good negotiation, cost control, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic systems

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to work early shifts / flexible hours

• Salary Range: RM 6,000 – RM 7,000 (based on job experience)

• Working day: Monday – Saturday, 9am-6pm

1. Procurement Planning & Execution
• Plan and execute daily purchasing based on sales data, demand trends, and inventory levels
• Ensure optimal stock levels (high availability, low overstock)
• Align procurement with campaigns, promotions, and seasonal demand
2. Supplier Management & Sourcing
• Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers
• Build long-term supplier partnerships and backup supply channels
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
1. Cost Control & Margin Management
• Track market prices and benchmark supplier quotations
• Drive cost savings while maintaining quality standards
• Monitor and reduce wastage, shrinkage, and spoilage
2. Quality & Supply Assurance
• Ensure all incoming products meet quality and freshness standards
• Manage delivery timelines, shortages, and quality issues
• Handle returns, claims, and supplier performance issues
3. Inventory & Data Analysis
• Monitor stock movement, aging, and turnover rates
• Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing, and supplier database
• Use Excel / system data to analyze trends and improve decisions
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with warehouse, operations, marketing, and customer service
• Support promotions with sufficient stock and competitive pricing
• Coordinate inbound planning for smooth warehouse operations
5. Market Intelligence
• Stay updated on fresh produce pricing, supply conditions, and seasonal trends
• Provide insights to improve assortment and pricing strategy
