Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

ITIL Foundation certification required; Intermediate certifications (e.g., Service Transition, RCV) preferred.

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing and governing a CMDB in a complex enterprise IT environment.

Proficiency with enterprise ITSM platforms, particularly ServiceNow (including CSDM framework and discovery modules) or BMC Remedy.

Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and services.

Maintain and update the CMDB with accurate and current configuration item (CI) data.

Assist in defining and maintaining CI classes, attributes, and relationships.

Perform regular audits of the CMDB to identify and correct discrepancies.

Support impact analysis by providing accurate CI relationships and dependencies.

Ensure data integrity and completeness across all CI records.

Collaborate with service owners, technical teams, and asset management to validate and update CI data.

Educate and train IT teams and stakeholders on configuration management policies, procedures, and right-first-time data entry practices

Provide CMDB health and data quality reports.

Support audits and compliance activities with data and process evidence
