Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

1.5 - 2 years of demonstrated working experience in Component Engineering role.

Able to workindependently with minimal supervision after onboarding.

Strong understanding of sustainable design principlesand environmentally responsiblecomponent selection.

Good knowledge of electrical and electromechanical components, including their specifications, applications, and performance characteristics.

Working knowledge of electrical and electromechanical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them in component selection and product development.

Comfortable working in shift mode and overtime if required.

Documents selection of components/subassemblies to deliver required performance and compliance specifications.

Interacts with other engineering disciplines to define component requirements and/or modify component selections.

Works under discretion of Sr Component Engineers to analyze designs to recommend optimal selection of components and/or subassemblies.

Read design plans, tolerances, and specifications for products and machinery.

Exercises judgment in recommending suppliers, methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to manager.
