Job Description
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of relevant HR generalist, HRBP, or People & Culture experience, ideally with exposure to multi-site or regional coverage
Proven ability to work independently on the ground with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment on escalation and prioritisation while staying closely aligned with the central HR team
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage confidently with Branch/Area Managers and regional leadership.
Working knowledge of core HR processes (leave, claims, onboarding) and familiarity with HRMS platforms such as DarwinBox.
Event coordination and training/logistics management experience, with a track record of leading initiatives end-to-end with minimal guidance.
Willingness to travel within the assigned regional cluster and work across CARSOME branch locations.
A proactive, service-oriented mindset - able to sense issues early and route them to the right owner.
Responsibilities
Your Day-to-Day
Culture & Engagement
Own the design and execution of employee engagement activities across the region, adapting national campaigns (CARSOME FIT, SPARK, festivities) to local context and branch realities.
Champion and drive adoption of the Core Values campaign across the region, working with Branch/Area Managers to embed it into everyday team routines and touchpoints.
Own the Employee Engagement Survey process for the region — driving completion, translating ground-level feedback into concrete action plans, and following through with Branch/Area Managers on outcomes.
Oversee the local training calendar in partnership with CARSOME Academy, ensuring full department coverage across the cluster and resolving venue/logistics issues independently.
HR Generalist Support
Oversee resolution of HR generalist queries (leave, claims, HRMS-related matters) for the region, handling complex or escalated cases independently and knowing when to loop in central HR.
Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new joiners across the region, ensuring a consistent standard across all branches in the cluster.
Provide first-touch triage on employee relations matters, coaching Branch/Area Managers on appropriate handling and escalation before formal referral to the central HRBP/ER function.
Regional Enablement
Oversee resolution of branch facilities and administrative issues, including access cards, uniforms, and stationery, coordinating with relevant departments to close gaps.
Act as a trusted people advisor to Branch/Area Managers, guiding them through complex people matters and equipping them to handle day-to-day issues themselves (excluding IR/ER-related cases — see note below).
Serve as the primary point of escalation and insight for P&C leadership on ground-level sentiment and risk, proactively flagging issues before they escalate and recommending action.
