Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service / guest contact roles, preferably in a hospitality organization

• Able to communicate effectively with both English and Mandarin-speaking guest (written & spoken)

• Candidates are to be comfortable with working on public holidays and on shifts

• Willingness to rotate within floor service operations for 4–6 weeks to gain operational familiarity.

• Possess administrative and basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft applications, POS systems, and other operational platforms).

Job Responsibilities

- Assists and supports Head Host/ Hostess.

- Responsible for taking reservations, answering the phone, responding to any guest requests.

- Greet each guest warmly. Be helpful, welcoming, and pleasant towards each guest

- Seat the guests in the restaurant according to designated rotation plans. Seat guests evenly and fairly at various stations of the restaurant.

- Personalize each guest’s experience by using the guests’ names where known. Acknowledge each special occasion where known. Pass on the relevant guest information to the Captains and Server Attendants.

- Maintain guests’ profile and history, take note of all special occasions and dates (i.e. birthdays, wedding anniversaries, etc.)

- Relay all Guest comments to the management team.

- Administrative and database entry work

- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
