Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering, design engineering, or project execution within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Experience in preparing engineering drawings, equipment layouts, piping layouts, or P&ID diagrams.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering design software will be an added advantage.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with China-based customers and suppliers.

• Willing to travel for project discussions, site visits, installation support, or commissioning activities.

We are looking for an engineer who enjoys technical design, project coordination, and working closely with customers from project initiation through completion. The successful candidate should be able to interpret engineering requirements, prepare technical drawings, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project handover meetings with the Sales team to review project scope, technical requirements, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and other project-related information.

• Prepare and review engineering layouts based on customer requirements and project specifications.

• Provide technical consultation and recommendations on equipment arrangement, installation requirements, and project layout.

• Prepare foundation drawings, equipment layout drawings, and conceptual routing drawings for piping and ducting systems.

• Develop, update, and revise Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) throughout different project stages.

• Perform engineering calculations, estimations, and technical evaluations to support project execution.

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.

• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, reports, and project deliverables for customers.

• Provide engineering support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and project completion when required.
