Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing and shipping/logistics, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, inventory management, and international shipping procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Good problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee the entire shipping process for import and export activities.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers to arrange cost-effective and timely shipments.
Prepare and verify shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
Handle customs documentation and compliance for international shipments.
Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for raw materials & other purchase.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Work closely with the store for inventory levels and place purchase orders to support production schedules.
Work closely with the production teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely availability.
Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve any supply issues or disputes.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and shipping activities in KingDee system.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, shipping costs, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Any other tasks that assigned by the Management from time to time.
