Crosscode.Studio is a Singapore based company dedicated to building solutions for digital communities. Our team of consultants, designers and developers deliver solutions to empower communities to connect, share and collaborate be it for social good or commercial branding.

Role Description
We are looking for a passionate UX Designer to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our mobile applications and web portals, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. You will be involved in various stages of the design process, from assisting with user research and concept development to creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of user-centred design principles, proficiency in Figma, and a passion for design thinking and creating exceptional digital experiences.

Our Malaysia team is located in Johor. While someone from that location is preferred we are open to candidates from different location to apply and work on a remote basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in analyzing user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, goals, and pain points.
• Assist in analyzing user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Help develop user personas, journey maps, and other UX deliverables to communicate user insights
• Design and prototype user interfaces for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web portals, using Figma
• Create wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.
• Apply UI design best practices, including accessibility guidelines, to ensure designs are user-friendly, visually appealing, and consistent across platforms.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency and scalability of design solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Trained in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a UX/UI Designer with a portfolio is a bonus. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component libraries, and design systems.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong visual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of mobile (iOS and Android) and web design best practices and accessibility guidelines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
