Regional Project Manager (Malaysia) (F&B Beverage Chain)

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years in beverage / tea-chain operations, including at least 2 years managing multiple outlets in Malaysia. This is an F&B beverage-chain operations role; hotel experience is NOT required.
• Experience in JAKIM-certified halal beverage operations, or launching a local brand from the ground up, is an advantage.
• Fluent English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Mandarin is required for daily liaison with the overseas headquarters.
• Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, food-hygiene regulations and the full JAKIM halal certification process; proficient in Excel, budgeting and KPI planning.
• Willing to travel interstate across Malaysia; resilient under pressure, results-oriented with strong leadership.
• Malaysian citizens / PR preferred; foreign candidates must hold a valid senior Employment Pass (EP) and be able to be based in Malaysia long-term.
• Salary is negotiable based on experience.

• Lead the brand's end-to-end business expansion in Malaysia, from the first outlet to a multi-store chain, owning regional revenue, profit and brand growth and reporting directly to headquarters.
• Set annual and quarterly business targets and budgets (sales, gross margin, new-outlet openings, member retention, market share); control costs, deliver profit targets and turn around underperforming stores.
• Drive new-store development: catchment research, mall site selection, lease negotiation, renovation, fire-safety approvals, PBT business licences, food-hygiene permits and JAKIM halal certification; recruit and train teams and plan store openings.
• Standardise store operations and halal compliance: build SOPs, ensure all ingredients, packaging, syrups and dairy meet JAKIM halal, run inspections, and control wastage, productivity and complaints.
• Develop the local supply chain and products: source and evaluate suppliers, centralise procurement, localise the menu and create halal limited editions, seasonal items and combos.
• Run regional marketing: manage GrabFood, ShopeeFood and Lazada, and campaigns on TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook and Instagram; influencer and festive promotions; build membership and loyalty programmes.
• Manage the team and HR: build management teams, design pay, performance and promotion systems, ensure Employment Act, EPF, SOCSO and EIS compliance, train staff and control turnover.
• Handle government and stakeholder compliance: liaise with malls, health authorities, JAKIM, tax and fire departments, maintain licences, manage supplier and partner relationships, report to headquarters and support direct-operated and franchise expansion.
