Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons and activities based on the school's curriculum.
- Foster children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, and love for learning.
- Support children's development in language, literacy, numeracy, motor skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Use positive guidance techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and self-discipline.
- Observe, assess, and document children's learning progress and development.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of children.
Child Care & Safety
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meal times, and rest times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Follow all school policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
- Respond appropriately to children's emotional and physical needs.
Classroom Management
- Prepare and maintain learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom displays.
- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Encourage independence, responsibility, and self-help skills among children.
- Manage classroom routines effectively to provide a structured learning environment.
Parent Communication
- Build positive partnerships with parents and guardians.
- Communicate children's progress, achievements, and concerns professionally.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and family engagement activities.
- Provide guidance and support to parents regarding children's development when needed.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow teachers, assistants, and school management.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development training, and school activities.
- Contribute ideas and best practices to enhance the quality of the preschool program.
- Support school events, performances, excursions, and special projects.
