Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons and activities based on the school's curriculum.
• Foster children's curiosity, creativity, confidence, and love for learning.
• Support children's development in language, literacy, numeracy, motor skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.
• Use positive guidance techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and self-discipline.
• Observe, assess, and document children's learning progress and development.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of children.

Child Care & Safety

• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meal times, and rest times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Follow all school policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
• Respond appropriately to children's emotional and physical needs.

Classroom Management

• Prepare and maintain learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom displays.
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
• Encourage independence, responsibility, and self-help skills among children.
• Manage classroom routines effectively to provide a structured learning environment.

Parent Communication

• Build positive partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Communicate children's progress, achievements, and concerns professionally.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and family engagement activities.
• Provide guidance and support to parents regarding children's development when needed.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with fellow teachers, assistants, and school management.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development training, and school activities.
• Contribute ideas and best practices to enhance the quality of the preschool program.
• Support school events, performances, excursions, and special projects.
