Purpose of the position

The Chargeman is responsible for the condominium electrical and mechanical system, ensuring compliance to the standards set by TNB, DOSH, government agencies and other regulatory bodies on utility services safety and compliance. He is accountable for the smooth running of all electrical related matters and the safety of condominium residents from any electrical hazards.

Key responsibilities & duties

• Responsible for maintenance and operations of all electrical system.
• Assist and supervise external vendors on electrical
• installation/maintenance/repairs.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance/repair.
• Install, repair, troubleshoot, maintain and service all electrical systems.
• Assist the management in energy saving through equipment operation.
• Good working knowledge in electrical system ie. Electrical LV/HT switch room, diesel generator and non-synchronize paneling system.
• Maintain proper records of reading on critical equipment operation parameters
• Check and verify the integrity of the Plant’s Electrical system as per outline inspections and logging operations.
• Possess good understanding of safe working procedures and ensure adherence of safe working practise within a factory environment.
• Assist in inspection and maintaining documents DOSH, ST, TNB, Air Selangor, and BOMBA
• Assist the management in energy-saving and cost-effective practices through equipment operation
• Control facilities and utility budget
• All other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior

Academic or trade qualifications

• Candidate must at least possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Electrical Engineering.

Requirements

• Minimum Chargeman Certificate (A4 Category) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Possess of PW4 certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga is an added advantages.
• At least 3 years’ experience of building/factory maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical especially electrical system.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical faulty independently.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Possess a complete log book based on 2 years of working experience in high voltage systems validated by a competent person and the employer.
• Good working knowledge in the electrical system i.e. Electrical LV/HT switch room, diesel generator and non-synchronize paneling system, solar system
• Maintain proper records of checklist operation parameter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
