R&D Engineer

Role Summary

The R&D Engineer is responsible for designing and developing software and hardware solutions that meet operational requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to design, implement, and test innovative solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to write clean and maintainable code, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend product improvements based on development experience. Continuous learning, teamwork, and the ability to provide technical guidance or training are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design products and systems according to operational requirements and expectations.

• Develop and integrate new technologies involving both software and hardware.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test innovative solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using preferred programming languages.

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Analyze and summarize issues encountered during software development and propose product improvement suggestions based on development experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Continuously learn and apply new programming languages and technologies.

• Support team members and assist with additional tasks as required.

• Provide technical training and support when necessary.

Additional Programming Languages

• Knowledge of any additional programming languages will be considered an advantage.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Prior experience in a similar field is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is a bonus.
