About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team at AppAsia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time internship opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience in the accounting field and exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic and innovative technology company.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Helping with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Supporting the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

• Gaining experience in the use of accounting software and other relevant tools.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• A fast learner with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
