Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Law, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Is An Added Advantage With 10 Years Of Experience In Aviation Security Or Related Security Management Functions.

• Certificate In Relevant Aviation Security (AVSEC) And Security Management Certifications/Training.

• Strong knowledge of aviation security regulations and compliance requirements.

• Leadership and people management skills & Risk assessment and security management capabilities.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Key Challenges

• Ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations and standards.

• Managing security risks and emerging threats.

• Maintaining effective security oversight across operations.

• Balancing security requirements with operational efficiency.

• Leading teams and driving a strong security culture.

• Lead and manage security operations across MAB to ensure compliance with regulatory and company security requirements.

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and operational plans aligned with organisational objectives.

• Monitor security performance, identify risks, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of MASP and other security-related programmes.

• Ensure effective security oversight across airport operations, cargo, catering, subsidiaries, and other relevant functions.

• Lead security audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments to strengthen security controls.

• Engage with aviation security authorities and external stakeholders on security matters.

• Review security threats, industry developments, and best practices to enhance organisational security readiness.

• Support management reporting and represent the department in security governance forums when required.
