•        Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, IT, or a related field.

•        Hands-on experience troubleshooting POS/EDC hardware (e.g., Ingenico, Verifone, PAX) and mobile roaming connectivity.

•        Strong working knowledge of basic networking configurations and telecommunications SIM cards.

•        Clear professional communication skills for merchant-facing interactions.

•        Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable mode of transport for daily onsite routing.

•        Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and signal issues independently under tight deadlines.

•        Install, configure, test, and commission EDC terminals. Execute device upgrades, swaps, and decommissioning/extractions.

•        Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions and field connectivity issues (GPRS, 4G, Wi-Fi, and roaming SIM profiles) directly at merchant sites.

•        Manage assigned field support tickets to ensure swift resolution within target windows and minimize SLA penalties

•        Maintain real-time documentation of field activities, terminal serial numbers, and merchant sign-offs using Field Service Management (FSM) tracking tools.

•        Provide brief onsite training to merchants on basic terminal operations and escalate backend network issues to the Terminal Management Unit (TMU).
