Job Responsibility
PLAN & ANALYZE BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
- Monitor and analyze monthly financial and business performance across retail, e-commerce, live commerce, and marketplace channels.
- Conduct sales, margin, profitability, and expense analysis to support management decision-making.
- Identify business risks, opportunities, and performance gaps, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.
BUDGETING & FORECASTING
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.
- Monitor departmental spending and ensure budget compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align financial targets with operational objectives.
DRIVEN PROFITABILITY & COST OPTIMIZATION
- Analyze product, brand, and channel profitability.
- Evaluate marketing campaign ROI, promotional effectiveness, and customer acquisition costs.
- Monitor operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support pricing and margin enhancement initiatives.
INVENTORY & WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
- Analyze inventory performance, stock turnover, aging inventory, and inventory holding costs.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to optimize inventory planning.
- Monitor working capital and cash flow performance.
- Provide financial insights to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
ACT AS BUSINESS PARTNER
- Partner with Retail, E-commerce, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support business cases for new product launches, expansion projects, and investment opportunities.
- Translate financial date into meaningful business insights for management.
REPORTING & DATA ANALYTICS
- Prepare accurate and timely management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Ensure financial reporting complies with company policies and reporting standards.
- Utilize business intelligence tools and financial systems to generate actionable insights.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and date accuracy.
INTERNAL CONTROL & COMPLIANCE
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
