Job Summary:
The Inventory Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. This position is responsible for daily monitoring, reporting, and providing key insights that drive informed business decisions. A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect, update, and maintain accurate inventory records within the system.
2. Generate and distribute regular inventory reports on key metrics such as stock levels, sales-to-date and variances.
3. Prepare ad-hoc reports and data extracts to support business unit needs.
4. Validate data accuracy and integrity to ensure the reliability of reports and dashboards.
5. Identify and flag irregularities, including discrepancies, slow-moving, excess, or low-stock items, escalating issues to the Inventory Team for action.
6. Compile post-sales and campaign stock reports for management review.
7. Provide accurate data inputs for maintaining forecasting models.
8. Monitor promotional and seasonal stock levels to ensure product availability.
9. Track demand trends and stock movement to support the team's planning efforts.
10. Ensure timely and accurate data entry across all inventory systems.
11. Support the testing and implementation of new inventory tools and processes.
12. Maintain organized filing, documentation, and records related to inventory analysis.
13. Collaborate closely with retail, warehouse, and operations teams to gather essential inventory data.
14. Communicate stock-related updates and report findings to relevant departments.
15. Provide administrative support to the Inventory Analytics Team in daily operations.
